Emma Kristina is committed to our mission; to inspire, influence and empower our community of women to become conscious consumers and passionate about our environment and the wellbeing of its inhabitants.
Hi.
The Emma Kristina woman is compassionate and conscious towards real world issues including, but not limited to, climate change, equality, poverty, and the preservation of our environment. She is inspired by the magical yet fragile world, both within and beyond our shores. She thrives off of sunkissed skin, salty hair, sandy toes and living amongst the tides. She knows the all too familiar moment where you feel smaller than yourself – subjected to mother nature's beautiful creations, submerged like a wild mermaid.
Hi.
This is what Emma Kristina originated from. Blissful summer days spent exploring the rugged beauty that is Western Australia - from the iconic red land stretching across the top end of Western Australia to the turquoise waters encompassing the wild Western Australian coastline. This is where our passion for the environment and those inhabiting it became so deeply cemented in the mind and heart of our founder Emma Carr, that sustainable and ethical swimwear was born.
Hi.
Emma grew up in an isolated town located in the Pilbara region 16 hours north of Perth, built for the sole purpose of mining iron ore, where beach getaways took place on the World Heritage listed Ningaloo Reef. Emma's life bore witness to the dire impacts humans were having on our environment so in 2019, Emma launched Emma Kristina’s debut swim collection, Dusty Sea, made from a revolutionary and sustainable fibre that regenerates abandoned fishing nets and plastic bottles from the ocean.
Hi.
The 'Dusty Sea' collection is inspired by all things WA! Our Turquoise Bikini pays homage to our founder's favourite beach - Turquoise Bay, Exmouth. Known as one of Western Australia's best beaches, the white, sandy shores give way to clear waters harbouring a plethora of marine life. Diving into the pristine waters at Turquoise Bay allows visitors to swim and snorkel within a few meters of the World Heritage listed Ningaloo Reef.

Our Koombana One Piece is inspired by the Koombana Bay, Bunbury. Koombana Bay is one of the few places in the world where you can enjoy a magical encounter with a friendly pod of more than 100 wild bottlenose dolphins.
Hi.
Our Gnaraloo Bikini is named after Gnaraloo Station, Macleod. Gnaraloo is a first class surfing, kite surfing and windsurfing beach along the stunning Coral Coast. Located on the southern tip of the Ningaloo Reef, the sheer size and power of the waves at Gnaraloo Point are humbling to experience. Pods of dolphins, manta rays, turtles, schools of tuna and whales frequent the ocean near Gnaraloo. The shores of Gnaraloo Bay are home to the world's third largest Loggerhead turtle population in the world.
We love to highlight these amazing places in WA as we believe that it's these life-altering and profound connections to our environment that help augment a more conscious world and empower our community to lead vibrant, compassionate and inspired lives.
Hi.
Emma Kristina is focused on the empowerment of women. Women represent roughly 80 percent of the global workforce in garment manufacturing. Thus, by providing exceptional working standards we aim to break the poverty cycle currently existing within families whom are tied to the manufacturing industry in developing nations. It's time to share the wealth! You can read more about our ethical practises

Hi.
We also aim to empower women through campaigning for self acceptance and inclusivity by showcasing women of all shapes, sizes and ethnicities in our campaigns and social media platforms. We firmly believe that every body is a bikini body - life is WAY too short to spend it obsessing over the 'ideal' portrayed on the runway and in high end magazines! It's time to rock what you've got!
